Life's Just Events is the banner under which we now run occasional events.

Our next endeavour is a four event series that builds upon the success of our popular monthly networking event Life's Just Networking: THE ONE REELER FILM CLUB. Like Life's Just Networking, THE ONE REELER FILM CLUB will consist of networking, short film screenings (followed by Q/As with attending filmmakers) and presentations from filmmakers about their new projects detailing how people could get involved, but it will also be a celebration of the art of the short film, from the dawn of cinema to the present day.

Cinema began life as short 'one reel' presentations over 120 years ago, and THE ONE REELER FILM CLUB presents a rare opportunity to see examples of those pioneering films alongside some of the best short films from the current crop of filmmaking talent. The event runs at the beautiful Cinema Museum in Kennington on Sept 9th, Oct 14th, Nov 11th, Dec 9th 2014. For more information, please join our Facebook Group, or sign up to the mailing list below.

As well as Life's Just Networking, our previous events have included LIFE JUST IS: A FILMMAKER'S JOURNEY, Christmas Networking Drinks at the Genesis Cinema and UPGRADE: Building a Creative Career in the Digital Age, which we ran in association with Student Film Festival London.
